Turkish culture is very rich and diverse. It combines different elements of European and Asian traditions. When you spend your holidays in big resorts, sometimes it is very difficult to notice something that is particular Turkish. A lot of tourists come, and Turkey becomes a real salad bowl. But if to ride away from big resorts, it is possible to have a look at traditional Turkish culture and life. We organize an excursion to some villages that are situated not far from Icmeler. These villages have preserved authentic charm of clear culture. It can be observed in cuisine, in people’s behavior and clothes, in traditions and ceremonies. Do not be afraid of talking to people. They are very open and ready to show you the way of their living.
We will devote a day to explore a tapestry of cultural pecularities of this or that place. During the day you will find out a lot of intersting about Turkey and its people. The excursion is availble from April till October on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The day of excursion is long and busy. Due to it we start at 9 o’clock in the morning, and we return to Icmeler at about 5 o’clock in the evening.
We have one price for the complex of all the services. Our price consists of compulsory insurance, transportation, lunch, assistance of a guide.The first place that we visit is an old Mosque in Bayir. There are remnants of old city, ancient graves and stone sculptures. In the village of Turgut you can go to the market place or visit some houses of natives. The third place is Kizkumu. It is a place with a picuresque bay that has a very beautiful legend. We will not tell you the legend here, join us in our excursion to villages and find out a lot of interesting facts about Turkey.
